Having spent 32 years in the insurance industry working for two of the market’s leading multinational brokers. Andrew Flavell decided to form a brokerage dedicated to providing elevated levels of service and expertise to small and medium sized businesses with cyber risks and exposures.
Andrew began to notice the increasing need for SME’s to protect their data assets as an increase in cybercrime became more ever present to all industries. Breaches in Yahoo and the NHS have merely publicised what has already been going on in the business world for a while. This has brought about some major changes to the laws surrounding data and more is yet to come with the data protection act being replaced by GDPR in 2018.
